Love is a beautiful thing, but there is an order to it. In my family, my love for my children cannot be equal to my love for my wife, and my love for my wife cannot be equal to my love for God. Yet, the beauty of love is that it does have a trickle down effect, when I love my wife well, that love affects my children and in turn helps them feel loved. If I love God, so wholly, so completely, then the radiance of that love will shine on all those who are near.
My love for God must out weigh all earthly love, because in loving He who is Love, I am discovering the purest form of love; and in that discovery, I am able to produce that love to others."
